Intricate, yet subtle pattern to this set of 4 double-handled soup bowls with underplates made by Rosenthal of Germany. Designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad and crafted from porcelain, the bowls are embossed with a unique pattern of ovals and dots. The design is crisp and elegant. Rosenthal produced the Romance pattern from 1961-2005, but based on the backstamp, the bowls were made in the 1960s. The set would be stunning displayed on open kitchen shelving!
The bowls were estate-owned and are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing found.
The bowls measure 2.5” in height and 4 3/4” in diameter. Handle to handle measures approx. 6 1/4”.
