Intricate, yet subtle pattern to this mid-century gravy/sauce boat made by Rosenthal of Germany. Designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad and crafted from porcelain, the gravy boat is embossed with a unique pattern of ovals and dots. The design is crisp and elegant. Rosenthal produced the Romance pattern from 1961-2005, but based on the backstamp, this piece was made in the 1960s. It would be stunning on open kitchen shelving!
The gravy boat was estate-owned and is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing found.
It measures 3 1/4” in height and 7” in diameter (the underplate).
