Unique designs in the glass on this hand-blown art glass vase crafted by master glassblower Stuart Shulman of Michigan. The piece is lower profile and modern, great for tabletop or shelf decor. It’s signed “Shulman” on the bottom. Shulman, along with Albert Young, founded S & Y Hot Glass, which was Michigan’s first independent glassblowing studio. They were dedicated to teaching non-degree, community-based glassblowing classes. The studio has evolved into The Michigan Hot Glass Workshop located in Detroit.
The vase was estate-owned and is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks found.
It measures 3 3/8” in height and 5” in diameter.
