Intricate, yet subtle pattern to this nice-sized, mid-century tureen made by Rosenthal of Germany. Designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad and crafted from porcelain, the tureen is embossed with a unique pattern of ovals and dots. The design is crisp and elegant. Rosenthal produced the Romance pattern from 1961-2005, but based on the backstamp, this piece was made in the 1960s. It would be stunning displayed on open kitchen shelving!
The tureen was estate-owned and is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing found.
It measures approx. 7 3/4” in height and 8 1/8” in diameter. Handle to handle measures approx. 11”.
