Beautiful design to this 19th century urn or trophy-style bud vase. It looks like sterling but I see no stamps to indicate as such. It is engraved with the initials MHD from EBB 1858. It would be a wonderful addition to a trophy or urn collection.
The vase was estate-owned and is in amazing shape for it’s age. It has a gorgeous patina to it, but no dings or dents at all. It could certainly be polished if that is your preference.
The vase measures 6.25” in height and the base is 1 7/8” in diameter.
