2” x 2.5” Antique Ambrotype in Case of a Young Woman Who Died in 1859 /ro

Antique Ambrotype Photograph of an attractive young woman wearing a lace collar and long earrings. Leather case. When removing the glass plate photo from the leather case, you’ll find a small note that reads, “Grandpa Harrington 1st Wife Sarah, Died Jan. 21, 1859”. The bottom left hand corner of the glass plate is missing, but not visible from the front with brass mat and preserver in place. Brass place has an etching too with date of Sarah’s death. An interesting piece of history to add to any collection.
