MEP Plumbing Pipe Automation with Dynamo Script

Dynamo script: Plumbing Pipe Automation (MEP)

This dynamo script automates modeling Plumbing pipes: pipe down/up to floor, ventcap. Siphon trap and more. 

– Input: 
1. Select pipe to begin with
2. Select direction (Up or Down)
3. Select Level 

– Output: The Pipe will be modelled automatically to reach the desired level

Pro tip: It’s easier to isolate the elements in Revit first, and then select them from Dynamo/Dynamo Player. 

This script contains the following custom nodes, so if don’t have the packages please install it before using our script:
