Intricate, yet subtle pattern to these mid-century salad plates made by Rosenthal of Germany. Designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad and crafted from porcelain, these plates are embossed with a unique pattern of ovals and dots. The design is crisp and elegant. Rosenthal produced the Romance pattern from 1961-2005, but based on the backstamps, the plates were made in the 1960s. They would be stunning on open kitchen shelving!
The salad plates were estate-owned and are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing found.
They measure 7 5/8” in diameter.
