Intricate, yet subtle pattern to these mid-century salt and pepper shakers made by Rosenthal of Germany. Designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad and crafted from porcelain, these shakers are embossed with a unique pattern of ovals and dots. The design is crisp and elegant. Rosenthal produced the Romance pattern from 1961-2005, but based on the backstamp, they were made in the 1960s. They would be stunning on open kitchen shelving!
The shakers were estate-owned and are in very good condition.The pepper shaker has a very tiny flea bite chip around the base, and they’ve been used so they will need to be cleaned, but no cracks or crazing found. Look closely at the pictures for condition reference.
They measure 2 3/4” in height and approx. 2” in diameter.
