Beautiful warm desert tones abound on this charming pattern made by Metlox’s Poppytrail of Manhattan Beach, California between 1969-1974. The pattern is called “Carmel” and has been described as having a background of golden honey with free flowing flowers in hand-painted brushstrokes of cinnamon and burnt umber. This listing is for a fun-shaped gravy/sauce pot. The gravy pot was estate-owned and is in excellent, near-mint condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing found. It has firing marks from production, but they are typical of pottery dinnerware and aren’t considered flaws. The pot measures 3.25” in height and 5” in diameter. It’s nearly 8.5” from tip of the handle to the edge of the pot. Please carefully review the photos for condition details.
